Bio:Because I get more personal on this blog than any of my others, I've made the decision to Friends Lock most of my posts here. See below for my Friends Policy.

I'm a public librarian and former fan fiction writer, editor, and publisher; now aspiring pro science fiction author, writer and amateur publisher of fanfic-style stories in zine-style "books." I'm a native New Yorker with a sarcastic streak and an odd sense of humor.

My Friends Policy: I friend folks whose LJs I enjoy reading. Most are writing related and some are real-life friends. If I friend you, I don't expect you to friend me back, but it would be cool. I do understand that not everyone enjoys reading the same things in journals.

If you friend me, I'll look at your LJ and if I find enough that I like and I think I'd enjoy reading it regularly, I'll friend you back. If I don't, please don't feel slighted. I read a lot of LJs and blogs (together, there are more than 450, though that includes photo and art blogs) and I don't add more unless I really plan to read them.

Also, I do not as a rule, do LJ cuts for my posts, regardless of the size of the post. If this would bother you, I won't be offended if you don't friend me.

Finally, I'm mostly friends locking posts here, those that have to do with my writing projects. I might or might not friend you back if you friend me. I didn't want to friends lock posts, but there are people I know in real life I don't want reading those posts. If you want to be added, leave a comment in the Guest Book entry and the reason you want to read my journal.
