At any rate, while I still have room for a few more icons, or as LJ calls them, userpics, I've now taken to redoing some of my older ones, giving some textless ones text and otherwise sprucing them up.

And I'll use a new one here, just because.

Meanwhile, I'm replacing my 3-ring binders. The one's I've been using for my writing projects over the years have plastic covers and have gotten positively sticky. I just got a dozen from Staples, and will be color coordinating. Red and orange for the Mars books, of course.

Trevor Hoffman blew the All-Star game for the NL. I'm bummed. But my Metsies did good. Well, at least 2 of them. A home run that tied the game at 1-1 by David Wright, and a steal and run scored by Carlos Beltran. And David Wright came in second in last night's home run derby. Now to wait til Friday for the season to resume, along with the Stargates. Coincidence? I think not! Now here's a baseball match-up: The Ori vs the Wraith.
