In an effort to declutter, aka make room for more stuff, I've been tossing things and putting some up on eBay. I have now, reluctantly, listed my 2-year run of The Man from UNCLE Magazine, if anyone's interested. It took me way longer to do this than it should've because I kept skimming the issues. *sigh*

Around a Saturday workday of general busy-ness, hubby and I took in two concerts, which I blogged about in more detail over at Cyber Chocolate. But it's enough to say that Friday night was Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band. The band members? Why, just Edgar Winter, Billy Squier, Richard Marx, Sheila E., Rod Argent, and Hamish Stuart. Last night, we saw Lou Christie and Dion. Yo.
Today I get to pack up sales items from my eBay auctions so I can schlep them to the post office tomorrow in the 95 or plus degrees F. during my lunch hour. And while I do that, I'll watch my tape of the Stargate season premieres, which I didn't see due to the Ringo Starr concert.
And now, a few spammer names to round things out.

I put a few more UNCLE zines up on eBay: 2 ZINE from UNCLEs and The Nowhere Man Affair, if anyone's interested. They were all great, but I'm only keeping zines my stories were in, a few series I really love, and ones I haven't read yet. Not to fear,
st_crispins, I'm still keeping yours. You can see my items for sale here.

So I think I'm getting the hang of this "ebay" thing. Sold a couple of lots of Barbie clothes, furniture, and accessories from the '60s and now have a few Man from UNCLE zines up (my eBay name is shellys555 -- the 5s are for the fictional area code; yes, I'm usually in writerly mode -- if any of you are interested).
And now that I've got eBay worked into my daily routine (I've become addicted to Italian bracelet charms even if I can't manage to get the charms on my bracelet by myself, and of course, there's my relatively new love for action figures, all of which are readily available on eBay), the writing projects loom. I've been hoping to get back comments from the third and last beta reader for BP, but he hasn't sent me anything yet though I did send him my comments on his draft before I left on vacation, so I'm going to just jump into the rewrite, probably by the weekend. Think good thoughts. I can't believe it's been uh, a long time since I worked on that thing.
I'm actually bidding on a charm that says "Yeah Right" (no punctuation! shame).
